Instacart partners with 40,000 local grocers and chain supermarkets across the U.S. and Canada. Just plug in your location and see which stores near you are featured on the platform.
You'll also find tons of Instacart savings as you browse for groceries online. New customers score free delivery on their first purchase when they scan the QR code that's displayed on the Instacart.com homepage. There's even a page dedicated to online deals at stores near you. And if that isn't enough, there are almost always Instacart coupons and discounts available.
You don't need a membership to use Instacart's delivery and pickup service, so there's no monthly cost. There is, however, a small fee for same-day deliveries over $35. And there may be one for pickups, too. But you can subscribe to Instacart+ (formerly Instacart Express) to waive all future delivery fees.

There's an A-Z menu of retailers that you can scroll through. Or you can enter your go-to store in the Instacart search bar or delivery app.
When you browse, you'll notice there's more to Instacart than food delivery. You can get arts and crafts supplies from Michaels delivered to your door, along with office essentials from Staples, beauty products from Sephora and electronics from Best Buy. There are hardware stores like Lowe's and pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS at your disposal as well.

Departments
Like aisles in a food market, Instacart's "departments" section is your guide to finding what you need. You can choose from categories like fresh produce, frozen food, seafood, meat, pantry, dairy and beverages.
For more expansive shopping, Instacart has dedicated pages for household essentials, health care, ready meals, baby supplies, flowers and other goods.
Once you click on a department, you'll be presented with some stores that have what you need, along with product recommendations. They'll only be stores and products that qualify for curbside pickup or delivery.
If you live in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami or another huge U.S. city, you may be able to get groceries delivered in as fast as 30 minutes with Priority Delivery. But if you see a small lightning bolt icon next to a retailer's name, that's an indication of fast delivery times as well.
