Always requires a claim
Virtually every time I purchase from points.com, regardless of the program, it requires filing a missing cashback claim. There might've been one or two exceptions several years ago. IHG isn't the only company that has this issue, so it's something on points.com's end that's not working properly. Thankfully, every claim has been approved, but it takes months and months of waiting. Buyer beware!
