The retailer waits until its return window is over to review your purchase and determine that all the criteria has been met. If your order hasn’t been returned during that time, then it can still qualify for Cash Back.

Also, while some retailers process transactions through various stages, other retailers keep transactions “pending” before jumping straight to “payable.”
