Thankfully, one way college students can save money on everyday purchases is by using their student ID! Many stores will offer student discounts to anyone who verifies their university status through UNiDAYS, Student Beans or SheerID.
Some stores, in fact, are right here on our site. We’ve divided them into categories, such as food, travel and entertainment, to make life easier. BUT you might not be able to use a student discount and earn cash back at the same time. So, it’s important to keep that in mind.
Retail
adidas – 15% discount, plus free shipping for students who verify their status through UNiDAYS.
Aerie – 20% discount for students who verify their status through UNiDAYS. Available for in-store and online purchases.
Aeropostale – 15% one-time discount for students who are registered with UNiDAYS. Available on select online orders only.
American Eagle – 20% discount for students who verify through UNiDAYS for online and in-store purchases.
Banana Republic – 15% discount on full-priced purchases. In-store only. Valid student ID must be presented at checkout. Restrictions may apply.
Boohoo – 25% discount for students who are Student Beans members or up to 50% savings for UNiDAYS members. The Boohoo Premier Student Program offers free shipping to its members until they graduate.
BoohooMan – members of Student Beans can get an extra 5% discount.
Calvin Klein – 10% discount on online purchases for students who sign up for a UNiDAYS account using their .edu email address.
Converse – 20% discount on online purchases for students who sign in and verify using a SheerID account. Restrictions may apply.
Forever 21 – 15% discount for members of Student Beans. Restrictions may apply.
Levi’s – 25% off select apparel for students who sign in and verify with Sheer ID. Available for online orders only.
Madewell – 15% discount for students who sign in with SheerID to verify student status.
Nike – 20% off for students who sign in with their SheerID account. Only available once every 30 days per customer.
PUMA – 10% discount on apparel and footwear for students who are members of UNiDAYS. Restrictions may apply.
Food & Restaurant
Freshly – students get $80 off their first 5 meals.
Home Chef – $116 off for members of Student Beans. The discount is $30 off the first three boxes and $26 off the fourth box.
illy caffe – 25% off select gourmet coffee products for students who are members of Student Beans. Restrictions may apply.
Thrive Market – a free membership for students who register using their school email address. Members will save 25-50% on groceries.
Entertainment
AMC Theaters – discounts on select tickets at participating AMC Theaters locations for any student with a valid ID.
Travel
Alamo Rent a Car – Student Advantage members are eligible for discounted rates when they book online. Restrictions may apply.
Budget Truck Rental – 20% off local services and 15% off one-way services for students who use the code TRUKU upon booking.
Sixt.com – 25% discount on prepaid car rentals for students who are 21-25 years old. Restrictions may apply.
Zipcar – save on hourly and daily rates and claim other benefits. Available in participating universities only.
