Both change your life and let me explain!
Math helps your brain solve problems quicker in life and pushes it to learn and develop and question decisions later in life. I feel from the extenuating math courses I took, i'm definitely more analytical in the decision making and plans compared to my wife. I also understand things like income taxes and how much to tip the waitresses, etc.
Now on the other hand Music, like playing an instrument gives you more of an ear for how beautiful music really is and the time it took to put into learning that instrument. Instruments like the piano are a crowd pleaser and beautiful to play with family and out in public settings. Perfect when you want to surprise your friends or family or saran ate your date.

There may be multiple ways of coming to the correct answer but there's only 1 right answer. Math keeps your mind strong.
