Welcome to our Member Spotlight Series! We want to learn more about how our members are using their cash back to help with life’s everyday expenses—or if they’re saving it all up for a rainy day.
Each month we’ll be interviewing a different member so that you can hear their side of the story. For our September 2024 edition, you get to meet Patricia D. from the San Francisco Bay area in California. Read on to find out what she had to say.
TopCashback: For how many years have you been a member of TopCashback? What made you decide to join?
Patricia: I have been a member for 11 years.
TopCashback: What are some of your favorite retailers to shop at through TopCashback?
Patricia: I like shopping online at The Home Depot for garden spray or if I need any tools or handy items. Walmart is another store I shop for household products like paper towels and toilet paper. Although, I’d say I use travel sites like Expedia and Viator the most. Groupon is another one that I tend to use more lately.
TopCashback: Why are these your favorite places to shop?
Patricia: I use the travel sites to book hotels and get cash back. Most recently I was in Finland. And then in the fall I am going to Iceland.
TopCashback: What do you typically like to use your cash back earnings for?
Patricia: I cash out with the Virtual Visa Prepaid Card so that I can get the extra 5% cash back bonus. Then I load it onto Amazon. I like to just keep the balance in my Amazon account so it comes in handy when I need to get something.
TopCashback: What’s your favorite thing about TopCashback?
Patricia: I enjoy receiving the elevated payout from the Virtual Visa Prepaid Card, which gives you an extra 5% cash back. I have also participated in the Facebook live video by sharing feedback in the comment section.
TopCashback: How has being a member of TopCashback made a positive impact?
Patricia: Getting free cash—that's a positive impact. I normally cash out when I have around $50 or $100 in earnings or when I see big-ticket items that become payable. But usually, I like to cash out my earnings when it gets to around $50.
