The countdown for the holidays is on! We know, we know… we’re still enjoying summer, too, but the holiday season will be here faster than you can say “ho, ho, ho!”

Tell us, are you looking forward to the holiday season? How do you prepare for holiday shopping? What was the latest you waited to buy a holiday gift?

These are the things TopCashback wants to know. And who better to answer all these questions than you?

I prepare for Holiday shopping by starting early in the process. I make a list of what I want to buy, then watch vigilantly for sales. I sign up with websites so I can be alerted to deals and discount coupons for the items I want to purchase. Sometimes I don't see certain individuals until after Christmas to exchange gifts, so the latest I wait to buy Holiday gifts is the after the Holiday sales. The holiday season has always been my favorite time of the year. As a child I promised myself that when I became a parent I would do everything in my power to give my future children the Christmas I always dreamed of. To this day I have and it brings me absolute joy every year! I started my shopping very early this year to avoid the Christmas Eve rush that I always seem to find myself in.

I Lost both of my parents unexpectedly and the holidays just won’T be the same without them; as they traditionally have been this year. Buying “Stuff” Just isn’T necessary. Travel and making memories and taking lots of pictures is our plan!

Since my parents past away, and my daughter is on the move throughout other states with my grandbabies. I try to shop for minor things for them, throughout the year though. That way, it doesn't hit me financially and stressfully; all at once.

KareronAugust 25 2022, 20:19 I have been shopping for presents for my four great grandchildren and two youngest grandchildren for several months now. Kohl's and Macy's have had great toy sales and I also have a stash of toys put away for their birthdays. I am physically unable to go to stores so I order everything online. I can't wait to see them open their presents. The rest of the family gets money that they use for trips or furniture. I love Christmas but it isn't the same since my husband of 57 years died three years ago. Happy holidays everyone.

The latest I ever bought a christmas gift is 1 hour before the store closed on christmas eve. I do look forward to spending time with friends and family. I go back to my hometown to reconnect with those that I don't see on a daily basis. I look forward to buying gifts and knowing TopCashback is there to assist me with this!

As I shop year-round, I usually don't purchase many Christmas gifts but I do tend to take advantage of any great sales to splurge a bit on myself (with occasional 'extra' gifts for friends and family too). I'll will take advantage of a good sale any time, including Christmas Day (but only online...It's ridiculous to make people work in retail on the Big Day)

I love Christmas time. I keep it in mind all year and grab gifts when there is a sale. Usually get better prices off season. I love doing the cooking and baking, the cookies are the best part. I always try to leave some for my post woman and trash men, which they always appreciate by leaving me cards or bringing my bin up to the house for a while.

The latest I have ever purchased a holiday gift was on Christmas Eve when I realized I forgot to purchase a grab bag gift. I catch deals on Amazon or through emails from merchants offering special prices. The latest I waited to buy a holiday gift was Christmas morning. It was a gift card I could download and wrap. I have also run into a store on the way to a Christmas event for a last-minute gift.
