I look forward to receiving the graduation gift, because it is not only a symbol of beauty, but also a summary of my youth
ianperry1973May 6 2022, 02:25 A friend's kid is graduating and would probably most appreciate some cash to help clear their student debt. Might get them a few beers instead, though.
charlesjanayMay 4 2022, 10:52 No. Noone.
meadowzephyrMay 4 2022, 05:39 I think the biggest hurdle for graduates now is deciding if a University Education is worth decades of debt. Some members of Gen z are opting out.
Tagface15May 2 2022, 11:19 Yes, 2 neighbors children are graduating, one from hs and one from college. The one from college, I know will have debt. Yes will be giving cash or gift cards as gifts.
MariaDollarApril 29 2022, 16:23 I know of no one graduating this year.

staceydlvApril 28 2022, 19:39 Daughter is graduating and a gift is definitely expected . Not sure if we can afford to financially afford to send her to college. 🥲
Khanom06April 28 2022, 07:48 My boss’S son Is graduating this May from high school, If I attend the graduation party then yes I will buy a gift card for him. Cash and gift cards are great for students going to college. They can use it to buy whatever they need.
BizzApril 28 2022, 04:22 Our daughter is graduating this weekend and I purchased her a sapphire necklace with matching earrings and ring. She will be studying for her cpa so we will also pay whatever her new company does not. She probably does not expect anything so this will be a nice treat!

sprzedawcasrebraApril 27 2022, 14:14 Hello
My brother is finishing his studies in finance this year
On this occasion, he expects some electronic gift, such as a new phone or laptop.
The biggest financial obstacle in college is the cost of living, i.E. Housing and food.
We plan to invest and earn money through a portal like this one
Regards
Member233095036142April 27 2022, 13:57 Graduation time!!!
This is very exciting time, actually I have two daughters graduating this year. We as parents are very happy but also overwhelmed. My oldest child is graduating from Emory University as a Nurse, and my youngest one is graduating from Mill Creek High school going to Emory for Business. We know that it is hard to pay for a higher education and children have to work and study in order to make their dream come true.
gpm290April 27 2022, 12:03 Well that was painless but what are you chances of wining? 1 in Gazillion?
SsslinkerApril 27 2022, 11:48 I graduated dental hygiene school last year and my friend is graduating in 2 weeks from the same program. I do not think a graduating gift is required or to be expected but it’S always nice to receive one. One of the financial hurdles is gaining money for boards for licenses so you can actually work in your field of choice!

vickie51April 27 2022, 11:10 My fiance is in africa I put him through college now hes doing his 1 year internship and its hard for graduates everywhere.I supported all his school and graduation on minimum wage. And its gonna get harder before it gets easier.
MirrorBunnyApril 27 2022, 11:03 My niece living abroad is graduating and going to a medical school. College tuition seems to be extremely high in the us and with the inflation the cost of living is also going up, forcing many of them to start their adult lives with debt.
eviewApril 27 2022, 11:01 I have some friends who kids are graduating from college. Will be trying to afford to buy them something, but money is tight.
Member333370842337April 27 2022, 10:40 My daughter is graduating this year. I think the biggest unknown is whether to go big or go to the local community college. Costs are so much higher now then even when her older brother and sister went. Hopefully our plan, to stay on budget will work.
plumeriaApril 27 2022, 10:38 Our youngest daughter (out of two) is graduating high school next month. When our oldest, class of 2019 graduated, we didn't have any family fly in for the ceremony because we were going to Europe shortly after, and we didn't want to rush anybody out. Nowadays, we still aren't having family fly in. Everybody is fine with watching the ceremony online after all that we have been through in the past two years. I will send out announcements, my daughter will get some gifts and money, and she will send out thank you notes. My oldest got enough money to buy herself a new iPad for college which she still uses. We reciprocate w/ The other graduating cousins, etc. In gifting them, it's fun.
sbgurlyApril 27 2022, 10:34 The cost of a higher education
BlueXTApril 27 2022, 10:16 I do have a niece graduating. And for many reasons including post covid pandemic and mentl heath reasons, I think it will be a good opportunity to celebrate a life milestone. Likely it will be a gift card for clothes on he’S preferred store or Macys
mommuvboyzApril 27 2022, 10:10 I know several graduates this year. Yes, gifts are expected. I think the biggest hurdle is the same as for everyone: inflation. The cost of college is higher, and the money we have saved is worth less than before. I also think it is a problem that many young people are used to getting what they want easily and instantly rather than learning to plan and save.
efzApril 26 2022, 03:39 Good Luck!
